Here in the sun cancer capital of the world, going outside means I have to choose between wearing a hat or wearing headphones. My favourite hat is a broad brim kangaroo leather hat, while the headphones I put up with are over ears. I prefer them over wireless earphones and the like because they’ll never be as good at noise cancelling without proper ear cups. One of the YouTube niches I binge on are tactical gear reviews. One day I came across PrepMedic’s review of the Vertx Ready Pack and found out about their signature Rapid Access Tab. Cult of the Lamb Red Crown
I made a prop replica of the Red Crown to wear to INDOCTRINATE, a Cult of the Lamb themed party run by its Australian game studio Massive Monster. Quest 2 Prescription Lenses
I like to play VR games but as someone who needs glasses to see, I often find myself struggling with trying to fit them comfortably underneath a headset. So I made a pair of snap-on prescription lenses. Wrong Purchase While there are commercially made prescription lenses designed specifically for my Quest 2 but they were a little too pricey for me. Petr’s Miraculous Canvas
Petr’s Miracle, also called the “Petr-Douglas-Neumann theorem” is a geometric theorem that describes a procedure that can be applied to any arbitrary polygon to always produce a regular polygon with the same number of sides. When Will Cogley released a no hardware version of his animatronic Eye Mechanism, I tried to printing it to no success. While my printer is not the most accurate machine, I was disappointed to find that not only did the printed components not fit together but the servos wouldn’t fit into the huge base piece.
